A canelé is a small, cylindrical French pastry known for its unique texture and flavor. It features a soft, custard-like center encased in a thick, dark, and caramelized crust, flavored with rum and vanilla.

After years of baking, fermenting, butchering, and cooking across Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, we finally decided it was time to slow down and build something of our own.

LOAF is the result: a micro bakery focused on real food — thoughtfully made, shaped by hand, and deeply connected to the seasons. Our sourdough starter has been with us through it all, and now we’re proud to share a little bit of that story with every loaf we bake.
